Design Manager - Dock

iO Associates is looking for a HYBRID CONTRACT Design Manager, to work at the Devonport site for one of the British companies that provide engineering services to the aerospace, defence, and nuclear industries. It is an expert in managing complex infrastructure.

You will be supporting the development, leadership, management and co-ordination of the technical design packages agreeing project related objectives, managing performance of Engineering and Design resource and making appropriate technical management decisions, along with ensuring that the design documentation covers the scope of operations required by the Project Manager.

Locations: Plymouth, UK

Daily rate: up to £70 per hour Inside IR35

Working pattern: Hybrid (2-3 days per week in office)

*This role may require Security Clearance, so candidates with SC or SC clearable shall apply.

A successful candidate will have:

• Knowledge of services design and installation
• Knowledge of construction techniques employed for Nuclear Safety related structures and buildings.
• A degree in an appropriate engineering discipline
