ServiceNow Senior Developer

We have an exciting opportunity for a ServiceNow Developer, who can participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle, which includes scoping, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment, and support of solutions developed and configured for our customers.
The ServiceNow Developer will be an expert at building solutions in the ServiceNow software.
You will adopt and support a team-based approach, proactively sharing ideas and expertise and supporting others within the team.
Responsibilities:
- Take part in team initiatives to improve the internal processes, capability, and service offering of the ServiceNow team
- Contribute to and deliver continuous improvement of service delivery for implemented ServiceNow solutions
- Work directly with customers throughout the entire software life cycle of projects (define, design, develop, test, implement, maintain)
- Evaluate user requests for ServiceNow solutions to determine feasibility and technical requirements
- Design, specify, build, test, and implement new or changed ServiceNow solutions, aligned to agreed standards and principles, within agreed timescales and budget
- Work within both Waterfall and Agile delivery
- Create and update documentation as necessary across the whole software life cycle, maintaining high standards of accuracy, presentation, and quality of content.
- Adhere to agreed templates and corporate branding standards
- Assist less experienced team members in application and implementation methodology and technical skills and capability
- Provide direct technical support to users for live ServiceNow systems, making use of ITSM toolsets and liaising with other service management and technical teams within an ITIL framework
- Follow and deliver against agreed MyTechnology SIAM processes for Service Management Processes
Requirements:
- The ServiceNow Technical Lead should have very strong ServiceNow development knowledge, capability, and experience.
- Strong experience in designing, building, and implementing solutions across a range of ServiceNow modules is preferable (eg ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, HAM, SAM)
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow best practice
- Extensive knowledge of JavaScript
- Knowledge of XML and structural programming concepts
- Familiarity with UI, Web Services, SQL, HTML, and CSS
- Knowledge of ITIL processes
- ServiceNow Training and Certification: eg Certified Application Developer, Certified Implementation Specialist, Certified System Admin
- Service Management accreditation: eg ITIL Foundation
