Lead Network Analyst FTC (up to 2 years) - Hybrid - Circa £36,000 - Yorkshire

Your new company
We are currently recruiting a Fixed Term Contract of up to 2 years, for a highly skilled and motivated Lead Network Analyst to work with our client who are a Public Sector Government body. Based across sites in Yorkshire, you will be responsible for owning the technology associated with the network and telephony function across both sites. Your role will involve managing a team of talented network professionals, implementing operational processes to increase efficiencies, and driving initiatives to improve the customer experience. Due to the nature of the role you will be required to successfully complete NPPV security vetting.

Your new role
Responsibilities include:

• Take ownership of the technology associated with the network and telephony function across both sites.
• Manage and lead a team of highly skilled network professionals, providing coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities.
• Implement operational processes to increase efficiencies, meeting and exceeding client expectations.
• Monitor system performance on a routine basis to ensure optimal network functionality.
• Oversee technical projects in alignment with organisational goals.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify and drive initiatives to enhance the customer experience.
• Develop and maintain an expert knowledge of the IT footprint and other IT systems, striving for continuous service quality and customer experience improvements.
• Act as a deputy for the line manager when required.

What you'll need to succeed
Candidate Experience Requirements:

• Excellent understanding of Network Hardware Technologies, with CISCO experience preferred (Firewalls, Proxy Servers, Routers, Switches, WI-FI, WAN Acceleration).
• Proficient in utilising network technologies such as TCP/IP, MPLS, Client VPN and WAN VPN, WAN, LAN, VLANs, QoS, Multi-Cast, Telephony, and VOIP.
• Familiarity with penetration testing and the ability to implement effective security measures.
• Knowledge of license and asset management best practices.
• Experience with Web Service, Security Certification, and SSL technology.
• Ability to travel between locations as needed.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
• CCNA (Desirable)
• Understanding of Project Management or Prince2 (Desirable)
