Our client are a large public sector organisation and are looking for an experienced Payroll Manager to join their team. This is initially a 2 month contract which may be extended for the right candidate. Our client is looking for someone who can come on board and be responsible for efficient and effective of employee payroll ensuring people are paid on time and pension compliance/HMRC requirements.
The successful applicant will be fully responsible for the management and development of the Payroll team on a daily basis. You will also ensure lead on and review the Payroll processes and recommendations for change and managing the process and produce reports on payroll and pension information when required. You will essentially be the key contact for the company pension schemes including auto-enrolment responsibilities. You will make appropriate pension deductions and complete monthly pension reconciliation ensuring administrative compliance. You will carry out all payroll month and year end functions including P60s, PSAs and P11d's.
