Job Location: Hatfield
Pay rate: £11.15 Per Hour plus hols pay
Contract length: On-going temp.
Shift Rota: 8am - 6pm - 37.5 hours per week

A leading IT service provider has an urgent job requirement for a Scheduler to join their growing team in Hatfield. Our client, who operate in over 70 countries and have over 10,000 employees in Europe alone, are Europe's leading independent provider of IT infrastructure services who implement the most appropriate technology from a wide range of vendors to manage their technology infrastructure on their client's behalf. However, the most important part of their company are the services they provide, which is where you come in.

Your new job in Hatfield

In your new job as a Scheduler in Hatfield you will utilise your excellent resource planning skills. The role involves logging multiple engineer work-requests onto the in-house job management system and tracking each request through to completion. You will be constantly liaising with both internal and external contacts, ensuring you are giving both excellent customer service and satisfaction by ensuring efficient and regular updates are shared. Furthermore you will be confident using different IT systems, with proven experience in the MS suite in particular Microsoft Excel as spread sheet maintenance forms a large part of your day. Naturally you will have the great listening skills and be able to multi task to be able to manage a demanding workload in this fast paced and Service Level orientated role.

Accountabilities

Gather information through relevant business systems/tools to ensure that relevant data is recorded for reporting purposes. Provide good customer service to ensure that requests for information are provide to avoid customer escalations. Prioritises own workload to ensure that deadlines and customer requirements are met. Advising and providing support to customers to satisfactorily resolve queries and escalating where appropriate. What you'll need to succeed The successful Scheduler will be able to work under pressure/be used to a busy pressurised environment; have good organisation and planning skills; good problem solving skills; worked in an environment with SLA's KPIs; have good customer service skills/strong background in customer service; ability to build relationships; good time management skills; strong minded, firm personality
