PowerCurve Collections Application Specialist - UK/Fully Remote

£350 per day (Outside IR35)/6 months rolling/Worthing based office, but this role can be fully remote

My client a leading technology strong professional services company is seek an experienced PowerCurve Collections Application Specialist, who ideally has 5 years' experience of working with Experian's Powercurve for a large scale upgrade/implementation.

Ideally you will have experience in both Powercurve Collections and Powercurve Design Studio.

Role details for the PowerCurve Collections Application Specialist:

This position is part of Application services team helping deliver the departments overall objectives in the short and long term. The role will be expected to liaise with the Solution Architecture, Service delivery and project delivery counterparts, to ensure that the applications are supported & projects are delivered to the highest standards.

Primary scope of the PowerCurve Collections Application Specialist position:

• Implement new business application software, capturing end user requirements and configuring, testing and integrating as necessary.
• Support new project implementation aligned with business objective and solution architecture.
• Implement new releases of existing business application software, capturing end user requirements and configuring, testing and integrating as necessary.
• Provide 2nd line support (L2-4 as applicable) for business applications under role scope.
• Produce specifications and designs for application and its components to meet defined business needs, retaining compatibility with enterprise and solution architectures.
• Specify, design and maintain mechanisms for storage and access to both structured and unstructured information, in support of business information needs.
• Design, create, test and document new and amended programme components, configuration, SQL, packages, code base and programs from supplied specifications in accordance with agreed standards.
• Develop, implement and report the findings of suitable test schedules to measure and improve the quality of application solutions being deployed, to ensure that new and amended systems, configurations, packages, or services, together with any interfaces, perform as specified.
• Integrate and test components and/or subsystems and their interfaces in order to create operational services.
• Liaise IT service desk to facilitate robust service support for new and upgraded application solutions.
• Facilitate productive relationships with and between key stakeholders, during the Planning management and implementation of business change, as applicable.
• Ensure that project and business application support documentation is maintained.

Experience required for the PowerCurve Collections Application Specialist position:

• Excellent technical knowledge and experience in Powercurve Collections and PowerCurve Design Studio.
• Any hands on Knowledge in SAP ISU and CRM Modules is beneficial.
• Experience of working in large scale and complex SAP environments.
• Proven hands-on experience of Powercurve support, configuration and integration.
• Excellent understanding of configuration dependencies and integration points between Powercurve and relevant ERP modules.
• Experience in supporting business in Annual billing and other billing related support activities.
• Strong Technical and problem solving skills.

Knowledge required for the PowerCurve Collections Application Specialist position:

• Any experience in understanding ABAP objects, BAPI enhancements, Transactions, User Exits etc is beneficial.
• Experience in issue analysis and recommend solutions for Powercurve Collections and PowerCurve Design Studio related technical changes.
• Experience in Powercurve upgrades.
• Act as single point of contact for Powercurve Collections and PowerCurve Design Studio related technical questions to project and support teams.
• In-depth knowledge of Powercurve Collections and PowerCurve Design Studio processes with a proven track record of supporting, implementing and improving applications.
• Knowledge IT Service Management toolsets, including Knowledge Base & Configuration Management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, flexible and a proactive team player.

The organisation is currently going through an exciting IT transformation which will strategically change the way it delivers IT support and services to its business and end users. To help support this strategic initiative, a new IT Application services unit has been introduced, which has become the delivery unit for end users requiring IT support and services along with support delivering strategic and tactical projects.
