DevOps Lead

We are looking for a DevOps Lead to join our team to drive the delivery of Digital services.

Role and Responsibilities:

As a DevOps Lead, you will be responsible for:

1. Leading the implementation and operation of the DevOps platform and practices.

2. Collaborating with development and infrastructure teams to ensure that DevOps processes are integrated into the software development life cycle.

3. Developing and implementing DevOps automation processes, including continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

4. Identifying areas for improvement in DevOps practices and processes, and developing and implementing strategies to address them.

5. Managing DevOps tools, infrastructure, and resources, and ensuring that they are optimised for efficiency, security, and scalability.

6. Providing leadership and guidance to DevOps engineers and other members of the DevOps team.

7. Keeping up-to-date with emerging DevOps trends and technologies, and ensuring that they are effectively incorporated into the DevOps platform and practices.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

1. A degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

2. At least five years' experience in DevOps, with a focus on implementing and managing DevOps processes and practices.

3. Experience in leading DevOps teams and managing DevOps tools, infrastructure, and resources.

4. Expertise in DevOps automation processes, including CI/CD pipelines.

5. Experience in collaborating with development and infrastructure teams to integrate DevOps practices into the software development life cycle.

6. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify areas for improvement in DevOps practices and processes.

7. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders, partners, and suppliers.

8. The ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

9. Knowledge of emerging DevOps trends and technologies.
