Are you from a mortgage background, but also have a technical mind-set and are looking for a role which will allow you to lead and manage a team as well as be hands-on and apply your technical skills? Then this could be the role for you! Our client is looking for a Senior Mortgages manager, to be part of the Data Platforms and analytics function of the company. The role revolves around managing the overall plan and strategy for improving the company's data platforms in order to enhance the overall user engagement and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Efficiently plan, build, and execute the company strategy for the mortgage platforms as well as any new mortgage requirements.
• Oversea and manage the mortgage technology teams including MSO, servicing platforms and integration technologies and be able to act as an escalation point for third-level support incidents/issues.
• Provide new innovative ideas for Mortgage delivery.
• Regularly monitor the performance of data platforms and ensure their reliability, as well as consistently strive for methods for improvement.

Looking for someone who:

• Has vast experience in dealing with Mortgage sales and servicing applications.
• Has experience and a working knowledge of technologies such as SOA and Mainframe as well as an understanding MSO (IRESS) and UFSS (Unisys) systems.
• Is able to offer a mix of both managerial as well as hands-on technical skills.
• Has excellent communication and a proven track record of liaising, negotiating, and building solid working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Has technical expertise in financial crime technologies.
• Certification in cloud technologies such as AWS and/or Azure would be advantageous.
