Storage Consultant/Engineer - (NetApp Storge array & Cisco Switches) - Amsterdam in the Netherlands

Storage Consultant/Engineer with NetApp Storge array & Cisco Switches experience needed for a 6 to 9 month project based in Amsterdam in the Netherlands, paying a rate of 600 per day and more for the ideal candidate. Candidates must have at least 8-10 years' experience in Storage specifically in NetApp Storge array & Cisco Switches.

Skills

• Candidate should have 8+ years' experience in a Storage (Specifically in NetApp) environment.
• Strong understanding of NetApp storage systems and Data ONTAP administration and management solutions in SAN & NAS environment.
• Provide storage infrastructure system management including capacity planning, adjusting storage requirements, when necessary, performance monitoring and tuning, security management etc.
• Should Leads technical assessments of hardware, software, tools, applications, firmware, Middleware, and operating systems to support business operations.
• Must have strong knowledge about systems integration and design.
• Must have a proper understanding of new technologies and architecting solutions.
• Sound knowledge of Storage upgrade, migration & replication like snapmirror etc.
• The day-to-day responsibility includes data storage tasks, such as management, zoning, provisioning, troubleshooting, and debugging.
• Must be capable to use management tools to discover, monitor, provision, and report on the storage infrastructure.
• Must be aware about Snapcenter and Storage Grid technology administration and implementation.
• Should analyse complex problems and developing solutions for them.
• Sound knowledge of CISCO/Brocade Switches with day-to-day task such as zoning, performance monitoring, health check etc.
• Working knowledge and understanding of Windows/UNIX/Linux operating systems
• Good to have VMware skill set, NetApp certification & knowledge of backup software eg Commvault etc.
• Ready to support 24*7 environment.
• Sound ITIL process knowledge.
