Permanent (Supplier Manager Warwickshire 50 - 55k)
Hybrid Rugby, Slough, or London
Accountable for the management of strategic and key operational suppliers as identified in line with the Supplier Relationship Management Handbook in accordance with the agreed company process.
Accountable for managing strategic suppliers and key operational suppliers as identified in the Supplier Management Handbook in accordance with the agreed company process.
Costs comply with contract rates this includes validating charges, service credits and working with the finance manager to track costs against the supplier budget.
Manage contractual change through negotiation and documentation of change control requests including engaging with commercial and legal teams as necessary to evaluate customer requirements of suppliers.
Manage and ensure contract change requests are approved and signed in line with current Delegated of Authority (DOA) process.
Ensuring products/services supplied are in accordance with the contract and sourcing new pricing or proposals as required by the business.
Monitor the suppliers performance through the compilation, analysis, and verification of supplier performance reports and through leading regular performance and service reviews with the Supplier.
Develop and maintain close working relationships with key stakeholders including the Senior sponsor for strategic suppliers and with operational leads, delivery, customer services, legal and finance teams.
Ensuring there are clear lines of communication, defined responsibilities, handovers, and documented escalation processes to ensure issues are managed appropriately.
Driving performance improvement from the supplier through identification and delivery of service improvement plans.
Management of Supplier commercial issue and the negotiations of any related settlements.
Ensure that both the business and its end customers are best served.
Implementation of cost saving saving initiatives via renegotiations and cost consolidation.
Basic Requirements
Academic and Technical Qualifications:
Educated to Degree standard or equivalent (desirable).
MCIPS (desirable).
ITIL (desirable).
Working knowledge of PC packages eg Outlook/Google.
Other technical expertise, experience, and knowledge:
Vendor management experience in Telecommunications/IT services industry, covering.
Complex Outsourced Services.
strong commercial and business awareness.
strong Customer focus.
Good Communication skills.
Good knowledge of contracts.
Good understanding of procurement specifically IT Procurement.
