Application Support (Product Support) (Level2)

Salary: £35 - £40k

Hybrid/Doncaster: 1 -2 days onsite. Tuesday plus 1 other as required for meetings.

Role Outline

This role involves being point of contact for the business users when they have issues/incidents with these particular applications, as well as enhancements, system changes, upgrades.

Supporting the business with the following systems: Ordering System (Order to Cash/Supply Chain) mainly part of finance. Also, HR (Workday), Production Systems and the Sales System.

Similar to Product Manager/Product Support roles, there are Business Analysis tasks such as:

Requirements analysis:

-Holding small workshops with business users to illicit user requirements for changes/enhancements required

-Documenting the user stories in Jira

-Attending CAB (Change Board) meetings to agree the changes

-Working with the Supplier of the system (Jade) to make the changes

-Performing testing on the changes and working with the business to perform acceptance testing (UAT) on the changes prior to them being implemented

-Co-ordinating the implementation with the business/supplier and wider IT teams

Incident investigations

-Working with the business on incidents or problems raised (if not fixed via the IT ServiceDesk)

System security and governance: ensuring the systems meet the relevant security requirements and governance standards.

An understanding of APIs (as the systems are all 3rd party provided).
