£40,000pa to £46,500pa + An Excellent Pension (15.5%) + Benefits Package and Working Environment

Government client who will require successful applicants to undergo a full Security Clearance (SC & CTC) and Vetting Checks are seeking a Senior Network & Security Engineer - Team Leader to impact and enhance their current Network Security Team.

You will be "Home-Based 3 Days per week" but also required to lead and be accountable for the support and maintenance of Network Security and Team Leading a group of 4 x Network Security Specialists, making sure users have efficient, accurate and secure access to IT and Network Services.

The Networks and Communications Team provide technical excellence across network and security, cyber security, communications, GIS and are responsible for the following key areas:

As Senior Network & Security Engineer - Team Leader you will be required to manage, inspire, develop, motivate and lead a team of 5 x skilled network & security engineers whilst remaining technically hands-on.

A strong set of technical, communication and management skills are essential ensuring integrity, security and availability to Network users and partners at all times.

Key Technical Skills:

• Cisco Nexus ACI, Cisco ISE.
• Cloud/365.
• SDWAN
• Secure Web Gateway experience.
• Juniper, Aruba, F5
• Network infrastructure.
• Firewall and security gateway infrastructure.
• Threat/vulnerability detection and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Voice and Video infrastructure.
• Integrated Communications Control System (ICCS) telephony and management systems.
• Mobile device and Airwave radio infrastructure.
• GIS Mapping.

Key Functional Responsibilities:

• Team Leading, Management or Leadership experience.
• Network Design Qualification.

CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, Security+ Certifications will be advantageous.
