I am working with an innovative and vibrant organisation, who are looking for a motivated Application Support Specialist to join their team.

Your new role
In this exciting new opportunity, you will work in a Product team and be responsible for system stability, maintenance and enhancements for a portfolio of "line of business" applications.

You will provide guidance and support to other Application support specialists and the application triage team issues that require resolution. You will proactively monitor the system to prevent problems and inform areas for improvement, including monitoring system process and server logs for any errors. You will provide expert technical advice as an Application SME and represent the service at meetings. You will understand and administer core application databases, maintain the confidentiality of the systems data, and use SQL scripts to maintain the data and report/bulk correct it in complex scenarios.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you will have:

• Experience in Capita One or education system experience (essential)
• Experience in SQL Server
• Experience in Oracle
• A working knowledge of business applications, interfaces and business processes

In return, you will enjoy a range of benefits and a competitive salary between £41,00 - £47,000 per annum. This is a remote role, with the expectation to visit the office on delivery days etc.
