Job Title: SCOM Monitoring Analyst
Location: Glasgow (Hybrid)
Duration: 4 Months Contract

Description:

• Proficient in SCOM Administration up to and including SCOM 2019
• Dashboard creation
• View configuration
• Root cause analysis/troubleshooting
• General tool management (including upgrade, certificate management and DR)
• Technical knowledge of network, environmental, hardware, storage, operating systems, and applications.
• Familiar with physical, virtual and cloud environments
• Reasonable understanding of the following technologies:
• SCOM
• Red Hat Linux
• AIX
• Java
• SQL
• Windows Server
• Windows ADDS/DNS
• HPE OneView
• VMware
• Design, implementation, and life cycle management of SCOM
• Ability to create service centric dashboards
• Utilising SCOM's capabilities for automation, troubleshooting, root cause analysis and support
• Able to populate company knowledge into events
• PowerShell Scripting desirable
• Able to install and manage admin packs
• Familiar with integrating other event management tools in to SCOM or vice versa
• Familiar with SCOM reporting
• Problem solving skills
• Analytical Skills
• Relationship management
