New Business Sales Executive - Security Space

My client is currently looking for a New Business Sales Executive in the Security space to join their team based out of their office in Berkshire. They are a well-established IT Reseller who due to continued growth and success are looking to expand their team.
I am interested in speaking to candidates that have experience in Endpoint security, Cyber security, Threat management Security awareness training, Firewalls and SIEM products.
Looking for candidates who have experience with generating new business, managed services, software and preferably coming from an IT background.
Daily duties will include:
- Developing new client accounts through a variety of business development techniques including outbound calls.
- Converting incoming leads generated from referrals, events, marketing, conferences etc.
- Attending meetings with prospective clients to scope their requirements and generate follow up proposals to solve client pain points.
- Responding to RFPs and RFIs.
- Attending events, exhibitions, conferences and other events to network amongst industry leaders.
- Working closely with vendors to maintain relationship
Successful Candidate should have the following skills and experiences:
- Experience in outbound business development
- Experience within a technical or professional services environment.
- The ability to engage and operate credibly with senior stakeholders such as CIO, CTO or CEO.
- Strong and demonstrable experience in the above areas
- A proven hunter and winner of new business
- Deep rooted understanding of current IT Security marketplace
Salary and Benefits:
- £35,000 - £45,000 base OTE 70k (attractive commission structure & benefits)
