Principal Engineer (Tech Agnostic)

Role: Principal Engineer
Reporting into: Tech Director
Location: office in Central Ldn, 3 days in office per week
Salary: £90-100k (flex) + 20% bonus

The company:

Revolutionising the logistics industry to make supply-chains more sustainable for the benefit of the planet and enterprises! They're building a new greenfield SAAS platform that allows all stakeholders in the development of a product to track its life cycle and re-purpose it once it's reached its life end.

The impact you'll make:

This is a start-up department owned by a £billion turnover parent group. They're looking to build out at least 2 new squads, you'll act as the technical authority for one defining their roadmap and WOW. There's no line mgt involved! They've opted for a microservices architecture so they can be more tech agnostic and intro new languages to their stack.

About you:

You're either a current or aspiring tech agnostic, comfortable with learning new languages/tools on the job. You'll need to have some Java knowledge coming in, but doesn't matter if this isn't in depth. More important is a strong interest in building out a greenfield SaaS platform in a high-growth environment and ability to work very collaboratively.
