Your new role
In the role of IT Field Technician, you will be upholding the values and standards of the organisation at all times whilst providing an unrivalled service to their clients on-site.

You will be configuring and installing desktops, laptops, printers, wireless networks, Routers and Switches to a vast and diverse client base across Edinburgh and central Scotland, with some travel further afield potentially required.

You will also be involved in on-site troubleshooting for network and equipment related issues, and liaising with your organisation's support department to resolve operational issues for clients.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a hard-working and dedicated individual with a passion for IT and developing and growing your career. You will be loyal and customer focussed with an exceptional telephone manner and hunger to succeed.

Technically, you will be proficient in the Microsoft 365 suite of products including Office365 and Windows Server. You will have strong networking diagnostic abilities including DNS, DHCP, Routing, Switching, VLAN.

In addition, you will have a flair for troubleshooting and have the ability to carry out on-site installations and repairs.

Additionally, this role comes with the opportunity to mentor an apprentice so an interest in growing the career of others is key.
