Job Title: Senior Quant Developer

Location: London (Hybrid)

Pay Rate: Negotiable

Contract Length: Till the end of the year

Advantage Resourcing are working in partnership with a multinational energy company who are currently seeking a Senior Quant Developer who can offer experience within Energy Trading to join their organisation.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Design, develop and maintain ETLs and data pipelines
• Co-ordinate closely with analysts and quants during development of models, acting as a technical support and coach
• Produce accurate, performant, scalable and maintainable code following all IT standards
• Productionise quant models, ensuring robust day to day operation, monitoring and back testing are in place
• Ensure that work aligns with the programme objectives for the model development and life cycle framework

Skills Required:

• Significant experience of Agile ways of working
• Knowledge of Trading terminology and concepts (inc. option valuation), ideally gained from experience working in a trading environment
• Practical experience with Python scientific stack (Pandas, numpy, scipy, stats, etc.)
• Modern Python and ecosystem, such as asyncio, FastApi etc.
• Application release, testing and packaging: Docker, Helm, conda, pypi, pytest.
• Substantial expertise in Cloud services, ideally Azure (Azure Functions, Service Bus, AKS, Azure Machine Learning, Databricks.)
• Good understanding of CI/CD and Test Automation, Git, ADO/Jenkins/Github.
