Operations Analyst - Planning Risk & Control - investment banking - London

Operational Analyst is required to join a leading investment bank, specifically in their risk and control administration business line, on a permanent basis. This position will be based in London (Hybrid - 3 days in office) and offers up to £40,000 base salary.

In this role, you will work closely with a Director and a highly experienced VP in the team. Covering a broad area of the bank, this team oversee operational risk & control planning. You will compile reports on risk events, and document mitigation activities. There will also be an emphasis on building management information via Excel, and presenting this to various, senior stakeholders across numerous business lines. This is a great opportunity for an Ops Analyst to step into the risk space and progress, gaining exposure to numerous areas and stakeholders of the bank.

Key requirements:

1. Operations experience within banking is essential.
2. Strong Excel skills.
3. Specific financial product experience is nice to have
4. Exposure to Risk is desirable.
