Design Authoriser

We are recruiting for a Design Authoriser to join our leading aircraft manufacturing company that is at the forefront of innovating technologies.

• Inside IR35
• Office in Filton
• £50.00 - £52.00 per hour - umbrella
• 1 Stage interview

Design Authoriser Overview:

• This is an excellent opportunity to expand your technical and leadership skills in a fun and collaborative working environment
• You will receive support from people in your team and the wider company
• You will be responsible for leading design investigations
• You will create technical solutions for a variety of tasks (non-conformances, design investigations and on specific tasks)
• Throughout your role you will liaise with other teams to ensure a fully integrated design solution
• You will be required to drive improvement within your team and improve efficiency
• Any technical issues which may arise you will be required to relay these to the managers
• You will develop relationships with stakeholders and the wider engineering team

Design Authoriser Requirements:

• We are looking for an individual who is motivated and self-driven
• You will have the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
• You will deliver tasks to a high standard and on time
• You will embrace challenges and changes within the team
• We are looking for someone who is able to identify risks and opportunities and manage them appropriately
• Throughout your role you will liaise with stakeholders to understand business requirements and multiple complex activities
• You will be required to bring new and innovative ideas to the table and explore alternative approaches
• Collaborate with the wider team and work within a trusting environment.
• Currently holds Concession Design Approval at Authoriser level.
