A rapidly growing supplier of managed equipment services within the medical sterilisation and decontamination field is now recruiting for an additional Field Service Engineer to join their expanding engineering team.

Working within a clean-room environment at high-end client sites in the pharmaceutical, research and hospital sectors, a Service Engineer with previous autoclave repair and maintenance experience is required to undertake a diverse, multi-faceted role encompassing installations, validations, maintenance and repairs of sterilisers (autoclaves), washer disinfectors, endoscope washers, drying cabinets, ultrasonic washers/cleaners and steam generators.

This role is perfect for a Service Engineer with prior engineering experience in a pharma or medical sterilisation environment, seeking an employer offering flexibility, better work-life balance and a "team work" company culture. Responsibilities - Field Service Engineer

Planned preventative maintenance, fault finding and reactive maintenance and repair work on autoclaves and washer disinfectors, from a wide range of different manufacturers.
Weekly, quarterly, periodic and annual validation of autoclaves, washer disinfectors and endoscope washers (training and courses provided)
Provide a high level of customer service ensuring regular, concise and informative communication with clients
Utilising and maintaining paperwork and shared databases
Solve technical issues in a timely manner

Training will be provided in validation and you will be sent on courses to obtain industry recognise testing certifications within this field.

Working Conditions - Field Service Engineer

You will be responsible for covering a territory in and around London, attending customer sites including (but not limited to) Watford, Bromley, Slough, Central London etc.

Your will be contracted to work a 45 hour week Monday to Friday, including your travel time (door to door). Start and finish times may vary depending on the demands of each job. A degree of flexibility is afforded to engineers as long as the work get's done to the correct standard and timescale.

The only exception is when covering shift work at one contracted pharmaceutical site which will require you to work a 6am - 2pm or 2pm - 10pm shift, likely once a week (this is shared out equally amongst the engineering team and planned in advance).

£30-42,000 (experience dependent)
Choice of company van or car allowance.
25 days leave plus bank.

Supplied with phone, laptop, testing equipment etc. If they have any hand tools, they can use.

Experience required - Field Service Engineer

Prior experience in the maintenance and repair of autoclaves/sterilisers/sterilizers
Excellent customer service experience
Excellent communication, both verbal and written
Flexibility to travel throughout the outlines territory and take part in the above outlined shift rota
