IT Support Infrastructure Engineer

A growing organisation is looking for an IT Infrastructure Support Engineer who can provide technical support across a range of technical specialisms. In this fast paced you will be involved in a varied range of tasks, from day to day to support and project work. You'll represent the IT function and be used to providing an excellent level of customer service.

You will be part of small close knit team, in a company that is growing. You'll primary support users on site but provide support to VMware and Server Upgrade across the company domain.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensuring all Servers are kept up to date
• Providing 3rd line support, both hands on and remotely
• Configuring and planning of backup, archive and restore
• Disaster recovery design, planning and testing.
• Supporting new hardware and software rollouts/upgrades

Skills knowledge and experience:

• Experience within a similar role
• Experience upgrading Servers
• Experience rolling out new applications
• Experience of managing virtualized environments
• Change and Incident Management
• Disaster recovery
• Strong customer service and communication skills

Desirable:

• Experience of Citrix
• CCNA Qualified
