Infrastructure Engineer (Networking)

There is a new exciting opportunity available with one of my largest clients for an Infrastructure Engineer with significant experience in 3rd Line support and Aruba design.

Duties include but are not limited to;

• Planning, development and testing of Change Requests with an understanding of business impact
• Provide 3rd Line Technical Support both in and out of business hours
• Develop designs, technical routines and instructions for Support Teams
• Delivering infrastructure solutions supported by the production of solution high and low level design documentation
• Project delivery and task management experience.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Data Centre and large campus network design and support with strong experience working with Routers, Switches, LAN/WAN, load balancers, Firewalls and wireless using Aruba and Fortinet
• Experience of designing, deploying and supporting routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF and various VPN/encryption technologies.
• Experience with designing, deploying and supporting large wireless networks using Aruba ClearPass and AirWave.
• Working knowledge of monitoring tools such as Wireshark, ICINGA and CACTI.

• Prepared to be based at a customersite and travel to other Prolinx locations.

• Ability to obtain Security Clearance to SC level
