They build a range of products designed to improve patient outcomes through realistic learning experiences.
Now my client is looking for a Quality Engineer to join their expanding team in Bristol. As the Quality Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring the product quality from the supplier, manufacturing and customer perspective meets agreed standards and requirements.
You'll be using the right first-time and continuous improvement philosophies to implement improvements to production processes as well as conducting root cause analysis and coordinating corrective actions in relation to non-conformances.
Writing update reports, monitoring supplier performance metrics and auditing materials provided by suppliers is a big part of the role which will require you to have experience of developing, implementing and reporting on product quality standards in a similar environment.
Additionally experience of quality KPIs, APQP and FMEAs is essential as is a strong eye for detail and proven experience of manufacturing processes and methods (Lean and Six Sigma). The successful candidate will be a confident decision maker and proactive problem solver with a hands on approach.
Ultimately you'll be helping to create a structure that complies with ISO accreditation requirements and satisfying customer expectations about the products quality.
