Endoscopy Technician - Highlands Ranch Hospital GILab

Provides technical support for diagnostic andtherapeuticendoscopic procedures.

2 years experience working as a GI Tech in the GI Lab is STRONGLY PREFERRED


University of Colorado is soonto open Highlands RanchHospital and is looking for high quality staff for theirbrand new state of theart two room Endoscopy/ Bronchoscopy Suite. If you arelooking for anexciting career and have the experience and flexibility to open abrand newfacility this is the place for you. Approximate hours will be7am-5pm.Monday - Friday with rotating and night and weekend call. Minimum of twoyearsrelated experience strongly preferred.

* Assists physicians and nurses with performing proceduresand providing patient care.
* Processes tissue and bodily fluids specimens.
* Prepares and maintains endoscopy equipment and supplies.
* Performs endoscope sterilization andprocessing.
* Maintains the GIprocedure area in a clean, safe condition.Ensures necessary equipment andsupplies are available forprocedures.
* Assists physicians and nurses with performingproceduresand providing patient care.
* Processes tissue and bodily fluids specimens.
* Prepares and maintains endoscopy equipment andsupplies.
* Performs endoscope sterilization andprocessing.
* Maintains the GI procedure area in a clean, safecondition.Ensures necessary equipment and supplies are available forprocedures.


* High School diploma or GED.
* BLS through the American Heart Association orthe AmericanRed Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-handbefore start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days ofhire. All life supportcertification cards must be issued by either theAmerican Heart Association orthe American Red Cross CPR for the ProfessionalRescuer. (American Red Cross forthe Professional Rescuer is only good uponhire and all renewals will need to bethrough an American Heart Associationsanctioned course.)
