This is a 58-bed facility served by 11 board-certified attending neonatologists, 18 nurse practitioners, and more than 150 neonatal specialists. The care provided by this core team is complemented by a larger, multidisciplinary team of clinicians from the children's hospital, which includes social workers, pediatric pharmacists, respiratory care practitioners, dietitians, and physical and occupational therapists.
The health care practitioners at this facility diagnose and treat about 750 newborns from more than 50 counties throughout North Carolina each year.
Electronic Documentation System: Epic
Working with patients mainly in the critical care environment by managing them on mechanical ventilation and through continual assessment of the patient and the management of equipment. Responsible for artificial airway management including intubation, as well as obtaining arterial blood gas samples, operating equipment providing ABO and electrolyte results.
* Diploma from accedited RT program/school or BS (will need a copy)
* NCRCB license
* CRT or RRT credential
* PALS or NRP
Type: 13-week Contracts
Shift: Rotation - Nights (7P-7A)
Hours: 12 hour shifts with every other weekend
Compensation: starting at $850/week local rate after taxes
