SUMMARY:

Efficiently and accurately pull, fulfill and ship orders according to all customer requirements and adhering to all DOT 49 CFR, IATA & IMDG Requirements for all shipments by ground, air, boat or freight. The Finished Goods Shipper must work well within a team environment.

. Requirements:

REQUIRD EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent is required

• Basic math skills

• Minimum experience of 1 year operating a sit-down forklift safely in a busy warehouse environment

• Experience with both electric and manual pallet jacks.

• Outstanding attendance.

• Must be previously forklift certified and willing to be certified by Sashco

• Minimum of 1-year shipping and freight experience preferred.

• Must be able to pass all necessary DOT trainings required for this position


SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:

• High attention to details

• Ability to read, accurately fill out and sign all necessary freight documents

• Being able to work with a Team

• Good Communication & Organizational Skills

• Ability to lift up to 60#

• Ability to work OT, nights or weekends as needed

• Willingness to learn software and programs needed to fulfill and ship customer orders
