What You Will Do
As a Pharmacy Technician with St. Mary's Hospital, you will have the opportunity to provide distributive pharmacy services and technical support for the pharmacist.
- Refills and maintains automated dispensing systems.
- Prepares orders and maintains inventory for the pharmacy department.
- Repackages bulk medications.
- Receives and stores incoming supplies.
- Maintains medications within expiration date
- Assists with nursing unit inspections
- Compiles data for CQI
What You Will Need
Education & Work Experience:
- HS or equivalent diploma required and No previous experience needed.
- Certified technician in NYS, or become certified within 1 year of hire date.
- NYS Driver's license required
