The Opportunity

The Buffet Manger will manage all aspects of a venue including the selection, development, and performance of associates. Responsible for controlling costs and maximizing revenue. Manages a scheduled shift and ensures total guest satisfaction.

  • Ensure the highest levels of quality and service.

  • Responsible for the selection, training, development, scheduling, and appraisal of all service staff.

  • Provide leadership to others through example of sharing of knowledge and skill.

  • Ensure accuracy of revenue drops.

  • Investigates, minimizes, and directs the resolution of product ad cash revenue variances.

  • Conduct associate-counseling sessions including verbal and written corrective action reports.

  • Role model the skills of GuestPath Universal Standards interacting positively though relationships with guests, coworkers, and supervisors displaying genuine concern and mutual respect for individual's needs.

  • Ensures satisfaction by regularly engaging guests in conversation and making their experience memorable.

  • Greet guests positively, treating each person as an individual and in a professional manner.

  • Demonstrate skill in dealing with guest complaints, using active listening skills to defuse difficult and sometimes emotionally charged situations to maintain the guest's goodwill.

  • Understand the goals and vision of the organization, and demonstrate commitment to those goals in terms of individual and team performance.

  • Prioritize tasks, handles multiple projects simultaneously, organize and delegate assignments.

  • Leads venue(s) management staff in the daily performance of their duties.

  • Responsible for providing responsible alcohol service.

  • Responsible for ensuring all food safety standards are applied.

  • Maintains a safe and clean environmental for guests and associates.

  • Responsible for cleanliness and positive appearance of venue(s) and staff.

  • Ensures cleanliness and maintenance of kitchen equipment.

  • Communicates operation deficiencies to department manager or other appropriate management.

  • Maintain thorough knowledge of Food and Beverage specs.

  • Maintain knowledge and integrity of the Point of Sale system.

  • Ensure compliance with all departmental and organizational policies and procedures.

  • Ensure venue(s) is adequately stocked with all product and supplies needed for service.

  • Investigate and resolve guests and associate issues.

  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma

  • Two years related supervisory experience required.

  • Experience in a multi-unit environment preferred.

  • Full service restaurant experience required.

  • Experience with POS required.
