This role is responsible for developing and leading a cohesive program-wide control approach in areas of budgets, scheduling, invoicing, finance, contracts, risk analysis and assessment, operational procedures, program information and document control for aviation programs.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop systems and procedures for control functions at onset of the project to facilitate the process of project monitoring.
  • Participate in the development and improvement of project controls systems. Recommend improvements in systems, tools and methods of project controls and project management.
  • Ensure field project/document controls, policies and procedures and reporting systems are fully developed and implemented by designated personnel.
  • Manage, revise and maintain status of the detailed project cost estimate/forecast to include all phases and project executions from design/engineering, material/equipment procurement and deliveries, and construction contracts through start-up activities to close-out.
  • Track and analyze project costs including budgets, commitments, actuals, accruals and forecasts.
  • Coordinate with senior project management staff to manage overall project cost control efforts.
  • Produce forecasts of total project costs, annual costs and monthly cash flow costs and provide variance analysis.
. Requirements:
  • Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • 4+ years of relevant program experience working on multiple projects.
  • Must have strong cost management and project planning skills.
  • Must have experience in developing budgets, cash flows and/or schedules.
  • Must have strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Must have a clear analytical approach to problem-solving and strong decision making abilities.
  • Must thoroughly understand and utilize Information Technology in the performance of work including Procore, Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project and Adobe and/or Bluebeam.
