As the Team Leader for Fairway America Capital Markets Group, I am looking for a hungry, up and coming go-getter to join our team in an important role that offers challenge, fun, and room for growth (in both income and responsibility). In the last five years, Fairway has become the leader in the Small Balance Real Estate ( SBRE ) industry through our SBRE advisory, consulting, fund administration, online real estate marketplace, investment management technology, live investor events, and our growing capacity to allocate to and raise capital for SBRE entrepreneurs. Real estate syndicators, private lenders, discounted note buyers, and other SBRE dealmakers look to Fairway to help them raise more capital and grow and scale their SBRE businesses. We need to add talented people to help execute our capital raising game plan and take the company to another level.Fairway America manages three discretionary pooled investment funds - Fairway America Fund VI, LLC., Fairway America Fund VII, LP, and Fairway America Fund VIIQP, LP. We have worked tirelessly over the past several years to identify and secure a steady stream of qualified real estate-based investment opportunities for which we need to continually raise capital from high net worth accredited as well as institutional investors. As a result, we need energetic, enthusiastic, and motivated salespeople to make calls, meet with investors, tell our story, and sell our products. You will need to be persistent, resourceful and determined to meet call goals, monitor an ongoing pipeline, and participate in a team effort to close business. We are growing in all phases of our business model and need exceptional, quality people to handle that growth, especially in raising greater amounts of investor capital.A critical role for the ongoing success of Fairway America is that of a Capital Raise Associate, whose primary function, working closely with me, the President of our Capital Markets Group and our CEO, will be to call new and existing investors, prospect for new investors, make both outbound calls and generate emails, track, monitor and follow-up on investor pipelines, help with investor communications, and more. You are required to have Series 63 and Series 7 license (or be able to obtain one quickly). That being said, an ideal candidate will possess most or all of the following:* BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Economics, Business Administration or similar fields* Series 63 and 7 securities licenses (will be required either at hire or to obtain within the first 3-5 months of employment)* 1+ years proven track record of success and demonstrable results related to some sales activities, ideally in investment sales, raising capital in real estate or other sales environment* Comfortable with prospecting and selling via email and phone and willing to make a lot of calls* We will provide ongoing training, but you should possess and develop an ability to grasp high level real estate finance and alternative investment concepts* An organized and effective personal and professional style, with well-developed communication and presentation skills in executive settings (including working with presentation software tools like Microsoft PowerPoint)* Proficient in Microsoft Excel in particular and other Microsoft applications in general* A deep commitment to honest, ethical conduct in all dealings and an ability to adhere to the company s core values* Exceptional work ethic and desire to succeed* Excellent oral and written communication skillsYou will need to effectively ask the right discovery and diagnostic questions and then listen intently to determine whether, where, and how you/Fairway can provide value.
