Senior Data Integration Engineer

Job Title: Senior Data Integration Engineer (Freelance/Contractor)

Job Type: Remote work with occasional travel to Bulgaria

Salary: 275 EUR per day

We are looking for a Senior Data Integration Engineer responsible for setting up data replication from on-premise database sources data to be replicated to AWS target databases. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in AWS Data Migration Services, S3, Glue, Hudi, and Postgres.

Responsibilities:

• Define the Source Endpoint EG Mainframe DB2

• Define the Target Endpoint EG AWS PostgreS

• Setup a replicate task for each table to S3, Glue & Hudi

• Run data replication

• Check data latency

• Check data quality between Source & Target.

Requirements:

• EU or UK Citizen

• Extensive experience in AWS Data Migration Services, S3, Glue, Hudi, and PostgreS.

• Strong experience in data integration, migration, and replication.

• Familiarity with Mainframe DB2 databases.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.

• Willingness to travel to Bulgaria once a month.
