Your new role
As a software development manager, you will be responsible for managing IT projects from Cradle to grave including requirements gathering and liaising with impacted users as well as identifying new projects, and supervising technical development and support staff. The role also includes maintaining systems and managing system changes. You will also be responsible for providing strategic advice, developing strategic plans, and managing relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers.

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record working as a development manager/technical lead within a busy IT function. In addition, you will:

• Have extensive knowledge of full SDLC and Agile methodology ie PRINCE2 etc
• Bring excellent stakeholder management skills
• Experience in delivering MS stack solutions ie .NET, M365
• Planning tool knowledge eg JIRA, MS Project, VISIO
• Proven experience in delivering an end to end software solution by leading a high performing team in an enterprise, Microsoft environment.

• Salary banding: £47,000-£53,000
