Infrastructure Engineer
Permanent - Remote/Hybrid (minimum once per month on-site) - Plymouth
Our Southwest based client are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join there growing team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and upgrading all of the IT infrastructure and systems. The successful candidate must have experience in a similar role, with a strong knowledge of ITIL & Cisco operating systems, as well as experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware and Hyper-V.
The ideal candidate must possess excellent problem-solving and communication skills, and be able to work both independently and as part of a team. The Infrastructure Engineer must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain, repair, and upgrade IT infrastructure and systems
- Monitor server and network performance
- Troubleshoot hardware and software problems
- Experience with Hyper v or VMware
- Experience with Cisco Systems
- Install, configure, and maintain Servers, PCs, and other IT equipment
- Implement and manage security solutions, such as Firewalls
