Support Engineer - 24 x 7 Shift Pattern - Sittingbourne

£36 - £45k plus benefits package - Depending on experience, skill set and shift pattern agreed.

My client is a well-established Managed Service Provider with a good record of sustained growth, that is currently experiencing further expansion.

They operate a 24 x 7 service support model. The ideal candidate would join the team, flexible to work a shift pattern of 12 hour shifts between 8 - 8, covering an average of 44 hours per week.

This is a fantastic opportunity for any Support/Service Desk engineers with Windows Server, Desktop, Active Directory and Networking skills to join an exciting company.

As a 24x7 Support/Service Delivery Engineer, you will be providing a mixture of 2nd and 3rd Line service support to a growing customer base. You will work closely with engineers in the Platforms, Infrastructure, and Internet Services teams.

Essential working knowledge and practical knowledge:

• Microsoft Office and Desktop Systems
• Microsoft Server and Virtualisation Tech
• Active Directory Administration and Security
• Group Policy Object
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS
• Networking knowledge regarding WAN, LAN, WLAN, VLAN, VPN, switching, Firewalls and Routers.
• Anti-virus, web filtering and backup software

Additional Information:

• £36 to £45k
• Office based (Sittingbourne)
• 8-8 shifts on a rota basis
