Akkodis are currently working in partnership with a well-respected financial services client to recruit a Credit Decisions Systems Tester to deliver testing strategies to state-of-the-art decision systems which play a pivotal role in the continued growth of the business.

The Role

As a Credit Systems Tester you will analyse business requirements to assess the impact on systems infrastructure and customer journeys in order to test effectively changes and new releases.

The Responsibilities

• Test changes to the decision systems, supporting business needs. This will involve the creation of test plans and test files as well as documentation and interrogation of test results from both a project and BAU perspective
• Deliver accurate reporting on testing progress, risks, dependencies and issues both verbally and more formally through documentation
• Building collaborative relationships with your team's partners to ensure accurate and effective execution of business requirements
• Act as a testing expert for the Credit Risk strategy and provide independent quality assurance for all changes to the strategy before live implementation
• Maintaining documentation to a high standard, ensuring governance procedures are followed

The Requirements

• Proficient in MS Excel
• Python/SQL knowledge or experience using another coding language
• Previous Credit Risk or Financial Services experience or an understanding of the retail credit industry and its products
• Knowledge of technical delivery life cycles
• Experience testing Credit Risk Decision Systems tools, for example Provenir, PowerCurve/Strategy Design Studio, Strategy Manager, Blaze Advisor or TRIAD
