We are looking for an experienced Project Manager, preferably working in an IT environment, to work within a UK owned, and based, Small and Medium Enterprise (SME), who offers sustainable, scalable and secure Managed Service Solutions to facilitate the delivery of Cloud and Shared Services to the UK Public Sector in compliance with Crown Commercial Services requirements.

As a Project Manager one morning you could be leading a workshop to plan the next stage of a deployment with a client, in the afternoon discussing RAID Registers with the PMO Manager. During the day, you'll keep an eye on key tasks in the PPM tool and liaise with a Project Coordinator. The next day will be very different, but you will be used to that.
This is not a particularly technical Project Manager role. You won't need to configure Firewalls or build Linux VMs, but you will be leading the people who do. You'll work within a team of experienced Project Managers, report directly to the Head of Project Management and on occasion travel to customer sites and other locations.
