Manager, International Social Security and Posted Worker Services
Location: London (Hybrid Model)
We are working with a major financial brand and their International Social Security and Posted Worker Services (ISS/PWD) team sits within Global Mobility Services (GMS). The team advises on the social security position of internationally mobile employees, working alongside colleagues in the core tax and Immigration teams. We assist clients with all aspects of international social security, including compliance risk, contribution cost and social security benefits.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage the global coordination/UK delivery of ISS/PWD services on client engagements supported by a junior engagement team.
- Manage the A1/Certificate of Coverage and PWD registration compliance process, including working with onshore and offshore service delivery centres as required. Oversee the provision of advice on domestic social security positions for non-agreement moves.
- Manage the delivery of Modified NIC Settlement Returns for both inbound and outbound populations, working with onshore Managed Service team. Review technical ISS/PWD advice for clients, and prepare complex technical advice.
- Manage the delivery of UK and global client projects focused on ISS/PWD
- Build, maintain and lead strong client relationships
- Undertake social security briefings
- Work closely with colleagues in technology to manage the delivery of services for Business Travellers, Remote workers, Global Compensation and Equity
- Participate in business development initiatives and proposals.
- Keep clients updated on International Social Security and posted worker developments both in the UK and globally
- Manage engagement finances with junior support.
- Manage and coach junior staff.
- Build strong relationships with colleagues in People Services and other parts of Tax and Legal in the UK.
Experience and Background
- Previous experience working in International Social Security and preferably, posted worker services
- High level of personal responsibility and accountability for own work
- Collaborative and supportive team player
- Good technical knowledge, curiosity and passion for continuous learning.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, delivering messages impactfully in a way that is open, honest, consistent, and clear.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to work under own initiative Capable of working to deadlines, showing resilience under pressure and an ability to apply knowledge to non-routine situations
