A job opportunity has arisen for a Solution Architect to join a highly established and rapidly expanding organisation that is based near Cardiff.

The organisation is undergoing a period of digital and business transformation, so this role would suit a forward-thinking individual who is keen to work in a fast-paced environment during a period of change.

Your new role
The Solution Architect will play a key role in the development, design, and implementation of new blueprints for the technology landscape. You will help to support the technology strategy with a particular focus on migration to Cloud, data management, integrations, and ERP.

You will be responsible for analysing current technologies, establishing areas for improvement, proposing, and establishing frameworks for necessary contributions from various departments, whilst working closely with key technology colleagues to ensure all solutions are defined for projects and working efficiently.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following:

• Either have proven experience working with Microsoft Azure (either as an Azure Engineer or Architect), or proven experience working as a Solution Architect
• Knowledge of solution design and implementation
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience of working within a Microsoft Azure Cloud environment, in addition to experience of designing cloud Infrastructure
• Ability to lead and coach teams
• If you hold a TOGAF or similar certification, this would be an advantage although it is not essential
• Any experience of working on ERP implementations would also be an advantage although not essential

This position can either be based on a hybrid working set-up from their Pontyclun site, or largely remote with travel to site as and when required.
