Position: Experienced Embedded Developer

Duration: 6 months (possibility of extension based on performance)
Please note: -We welcome English-speaking candidates to apply for this position. -Remote work is available after the initial 6 weeks of on-site work (3 times per week), with possibility of on-site work once a week based on performance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and implement software for Embedded devices and systems, from requirements to production and commercial deployment.
- Code, test and debug system software.
- Review code and design to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Analyse and improve the efficiency, stability, and scalability of system resources.
- Integrate and validate new product designs.
- Support software QA and optimise I/O performance.
- Provide post-production support.
- Collaborate with hardware design and development teams.
- Assess third-party and open-source software.
Your Profile:
- Bachelor/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Embedded Development.
- Experience in C++ 14 or higher.
- Experience in C and Python.
- Knowledge of modern DevOps tooling and principles (CI/CD, unit testing, TDD).
- Experience working in Agile teams.
- Experience in Linux Kernel development.
- Knowledge of RTOS or ThreadX is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Great organisational and time management skills.
- Experience with networking is a plus.
- Experience with audio/video (codecs, encoding/decoding) is a plus.
- Knowledge of USB, HDMI, Wifi is a plus.
The ideal candidate for this position is an experienced Embedded Developer with a Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field. The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Embedded Development, with strong skills in C++ 14 or higher, as well as C and Python. The candidate should also have experience with modern DevOps tooling and principles, and have worked in Agile teams. Strong problem-solving skills, collaboration and communication skills, and great organisational and time management skills are a must. Experience with networking and audio/video (codecs, encoding/decoding) are desirable, as is knowledge of USB, HDMI, Wifi. The candidate should be willing to work on-site for the first 6 weeks, with the possibility of remote work thereafter based on performance.
