Here at iO we have another position with a defence consultancy who are on the look out for a Software Engineer to join their growing team. The Software Engineer is an essential hire for the team and will be involved in Synthetic Environment and Simulation projects.

Your role will see you be responsible for the development of situational awareness, role-player and interoperability applications for live training exercises. The team undertakes a variety of work, ranging from prototyping and concept demonstrators to large-scale systems.

For this position ideally you would need SC Clearance to start, however our client can put you through it themselves if needed.

If you have the following experience,

• Experience of Agile software engineering practices, eg Scrum
• Development experience using with Python/Java, Spring & React
• Experience developing training and/or simulation software.
• Development experience using C# would be advantageous.
