AWS Platform Engineer (Hybrid)

The Bridge IT are recruiting with a major Tech Organisation for a Platform Engineer based in Yorkshire. The role is on a hybrid and Permanent basis.

You will be engaged on an exciting new programme of work in a fast paced, agile environment. You'll have the expertise and confidence to lead the definition and support of the AWS delivery platform in complex engagements, typically working in multi-disciplinary teams.

You will gain exposure and experience with the latest technologies in a cloud native environment. The organisation has excellent training and upskilling opportunities, where you will have the chance to further your knowledge and gain professional and industry certifications.

Key Experience:

• Commercial experience of designing, deploying and managing enterprise cloud environments.
• Experience of using Docker, Kubernetes, EKS etc
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation or Pulumi.
• In-depth configuration management, automation and Scripting using tools such as Python, Ruby and Go.
• Detailed knowledge of platform and application automated deployment technologies like Puppet, Chef, SaltStack etc.
• Exposure to iterative/agile development methodologies and experience of enabling team delivery through technology.
