Unity Technical Artist

A video game development company based in Leamington Spa is seeking an experienced technical artist to join their team. The successful candidate should possess a high level of proficiency in Unity and be able to work efficiently between art and development teams across various projects. They should also have a strong understanding of mobile development and possess the ability to think creatively within this field.

The gaming studio is looking for someone to come into site from Monday to Wednesday with the option to work remotely Thursday and Friday.

This position is going to start off as a 3-month contract with the view to moving to a permanent role either within the 3 months or at the end of the contract.

We are paying competitive rates and salaries for the role. This can be negotiated upon application.

Skills needed:

- Act as an intermediate between the art and development team for technical knowledge and solutions

- Look over the art tools, pipeline and processes for art, ensuring the best standards are upheld

- Extensive experience with Unity, with experience in tool creation, animation systems, rendering pipelines and shader creation

- Experience with art production such as 2D, 3D and VFX is desirable
