Onsite Technical Support Engineer

As a Onsite Technical Support Engineer, you will enhance the customer's overall IT experience by providing technical and service support whilst meeting all agreed customer and departmental KPI and SLA targets. The function will include responsibility for supporting, managing and maintaining technical services with the Account Management and Proactive Engineering teams. We are looking for a candidate who is locally based in Birmingham to work on site full time 5 days a week.

In your first few weeks in this Onsite Technical Support Engineer role, you can expect to:

• Provide technical and service support by taking calls, customer walk-ups and direction from operational and management teams, handling the resulting incidents or service requests and using the incident management and request fulfilment processes in line with technical support objectives
• Ability to converse with all levels of internal staff and customers
• Advanced problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide technical remediation and understanding to others
• Provide excellent customer service providing proactive, reactive, and service management to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through advice, guidance and technical support within SLA and business KPIs
• Develop and continuous improvement of Auras managed services to increase the company's managed service portfolio to increase customer satisfaction

To apply for this technical support role, you will need demonstrable experience of working with multiple technologies within a managed service provider.

You will also require the following:

• At least 24 months of experience working with technical teams in a multi-tiered environment
• The ability to demonstrate customer-centric service delivery
• Experience in a high-ticket volume incident management environment
• Strong IT Networking skills
• Strong Microsoft Office suite skills
• Experienced in Microsoft Cloud Azure
• Ability to converse with all levels of internal staff and customers
• Be able to demonstrate the ability to be able to consult and pull apart situations and find methods to solve problems with solutions
• Experience in a high-ticket volume incident management environment
