My client was recently voted one of the best companies to work requires a Software Development Manager to be responsible for ensuring the efficient delivery of high-quality software products across multiple, autonomous development teams and to coach and manage the engineers in an Agile DevSecOps environment ensuring they are continuously improving themselves, their processes, the technologies they own, and their product outcomes.

As a Software Development Manager you will lead and manage multiple highly skilled teams of software, QA, and data engineers, coach engineers and team leaders to grow their own careers and capabilities, work with engineers and product managers to balance the customer-facing, technological, and organisational transformation objectives, run productive, efficient Agile teams utilising the appropriate frameworks (Scrum, Kanban), ensure teams are maintaining and continuously improving the software and systems and ensure architecture, quality, and technology strategies are understood and implemented by the teams.

You will have previous experience in a similar role, possess a good understanding of Web and B2B SaaS technologies, have worked on Business Transformation project (ideally at Corporate level), can demonstrable skills line managing multiple skilled technical staff (ability to coach, set personal objectives etc), have the ability to discuss the patterns and principles of software engineering, good process practices, and emphasise the importance of delivery, have strong working knowledge of Agile/Scrum and have the ability to motivate and inspire teams
