Senior Azure Cloud Engineer

Are you a subject matter expert on all things Azure cloud?

I am looking for a lead Azure cloud Engineer like you for a role with my client who have received significant investment for cloud transformation, they specialise within the STEM market and are in the process of building a new candidate digital experience to manage the interactions that candidates and contractors have.

The role presents an opportunity for a rare blend between the security of a FTSE 250 company, as well as bringing a start up feel of having the ability to put your own stamp on the technical aspects of the business.

This role is not a DevOps Engineer role, the ideal candidate would have lived Azure cloud with 3 years plus experience covering solution design, governance and deployment of Azure cloud infrastructure, we require a Senior Cloud Engineer to sit on the infrastructure side with strong operational standpoint that can design and deploy cloud services.

You will have experience in migration from on prem data centres into Azure cloud and demonstrate knowledge of implementing services with 3rd party suppliers and implement cloud solutions, being familiar with building architectural designs, solutions, and change governance.

This role would see you come in with your experience and help direct and advise on how things should be implemented moving forward taking on full ownership, with the purpose being of changing the current CRM system, platform building and improving the digital experience as a whole with the emphasis on moving from on prem to cloud.

Role - Azure Cloud Engineer

Glasgow/London - Remote with occasional office visits

Salary - £70k - £80k

The tech bit

You will have demonstratable experience in the following

Azure Cloud, Kubernetes containerisation, AKS, Terraform, Chef, Puppet, Helm, Docker, ARM templates, CI/CD pipelines,

And Scripting language including any of the following C#, Java, PHP, Ruby, Python, PowerShell etc
