Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Engineer to join our team. The Field Engineer will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing company's product and services. The Field Engineer will work closely with clients to ensure their satisfaction and will be responsible for ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with internal and MOD policy.

• Sophos Anti-Virus

• Windows RDS (Remote Desktop Solution) systems

• Switch technologies

• Firewall technologies

• HP Thin clients

• End point manager

• Dell & Lenovo laptops

• SharePoint

Skills, Qualities and Experience

• Ability to work autonomously under your own initiative.

• Must be able to hold SC and DV clearance. Willingness to attain DV clearance if candidate holds SC.

• Proven record in supporting project delivery.

• A commitment to continually developing technical skills.

• A good understanding of current HMG security classifications.

• Initiative and pro-activity, matched by an ability to be a strong member of a team.

• Experience of managed service environments, with an awareness of ITIL best practice.

• Experience of build, test, and implementation of systems, along with 3PrdP line operational support.

• Good communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate both internally and externally.

• Willingness to work flexibly in response to changing organizational requests. Including the night working away at customer sites when required.
