Job Title: Senior Azure DevOps Engineer

Location: Finland - Some on site required in Helsinki

My client are currently seeking a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to join their team on a freelance basis in Helsinki.
As a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure, creating and managing CI/CD pipelines, and automating infrastructure deployment processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure
• Create and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
• Automate infrastructure deployment processes using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM Templates, or CloudFormation
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of cloud-based solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, testers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
• Mentor and guide junior members of the team
• Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in cloud computing, DevOps, and infrastructure automation

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• At least 5 years of experience in Azure DevOps, cloud computing, and infrastructure automation
• Strong knowledge of Azure services and tools including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure DevOps, etc.
• Proficient in at least one programming language such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM Templates, or CloudFormation
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Fluent in Finnish, both written and spoken
