Senior C#/.Net Engineer (Core .NET)

We have an excellent permanent Senior C# Developer/Engineer job opportunity to be responsible for designing and building enterprise grade software solutions to time, cost and quality constraints.

In addition to developing new capabilities the software engineer will support and maintain existing software solutions and assist with the diagnosis and rectification of service affecting issues and development operations such as build, configuration and deployment management.

Candidates applying for this role should have most of the following skills and experience:-

• Minimum 5 years of experience working with .Net/.Net Core and Microsoft Technology Stack
• Experience developing/operating with a commercial cloud environment, preferably MS Azure
• Proficient in designing, building, testing and maintaining modern software applications
• Experience of applying development best practices and patterns in relation to security, scalability and performance
• Contributing to technical decisions and direction in a collaborative team environment
• Experience of design and development across multiple layers of an application
• Experience with Agile, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
• Experience with microservice containerization (Docker,Kubernettes,AKS)
• Experience with relational and non-relational database technologies (MSSQL, CosmosDB, MongoDB)
• Microsoft .NET technology stack: C#/.NET, .NET Core, ASP.NET,Web APIs,Azure Functions
• Development Operations: Working knowledge of code management tools such as Git, agile management tools, CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps
• Experience working with Kafka,Azure Service Bus
• Automated Testing: Unit test development, Integration test development
• Web Programing: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Knowledge of React.js,Blazor (Desirable)
• Agile & Software Development Best Practices including code scanning and remediation
• Passionate about writing concise, well tested and robust code
• Mentoring junior team members
• Friendly, willing to learn and a love of tech
• BSc Hons in Computer Science or Software Engineering Discipline - Desirable
