Site Reliability Developer

Location - Eindhoven, Netherlands

We are currently seeking a highly experienced Site Relibility Developer for a leading Semi-conductor company. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background with be able to define and implement structural improvements using Ansible and Python coding to simplify configurations and drive uptime. In addition, experience with Ansible, Networking, Linux, Hadoop, Failover designs and virtualization (RHEV). The candidate will need to get involved in development of new features that help to further improve the platform stability; eg failover designs and automated test to qualify zone failover. On top of this, the candidate with need to have knowledge of distributed computing systems, Linux expert, administrator, extensive experience troubleshooting complex Linux issues.

Key Requirements:

Define and implement structural improvements using Ansible and Python coding to simplify configurations and drive uptime
Root cause finding with your team of the most complex issues, sometimes these are deep inside the Linux OS.
Development of new features that help to further improve the platform stability; eg failover designs and automated test to qualify zone failover
Build Ansible playbooks, maintainable, configurable

Required Qualifications:

Knowledge of distributed computing systems, practical experience (must!)
Experience with Ansible, creator of playbooks and roles
Linux expert, administrator, extensive experience troubleshooting complex Linux issues.
Networking Expert, understand TCP/IP protocol, troubleshoot Firewall config issues etc.
Understands RHEV and Virtual Machines
